WTF AM I WATCHING?!?!!
every week 20 min in I'm like "OK I finally see what's going on here" then end of the episode I'm back to "???"
Yep. I get fucking whooshed every week so hard.
David, diary of a mad mutant man. Details uncertain at this time due to not sure how much of what we is actually real and not due to MC being cray cray.... unless of course he really isn't and everything is real.... Though I think that last episode it pretty firmly in the didn't really happen. Kind of what makes it so awesome though. Even with some ideas from the comics the perspective it's done it makes it hard to say for certain what is going on. Other than Plaza is definitely a separate entity that wants his body.
Given amount of episodes left and the semi reveal last episode say next one will be the finally figuring shit out and gathering the troops episode for the final confrontation in the last episode only to learn things weren't actually quite like we thought they were cue cliffhanger to get us hyped for season 2.
I have strong suspicion Yellowed Eyed Man is Shadow King or some such.
I don't think it will ever get confirmed, but yeah, seems pretty obvious at this point with "Lenny" saying she knew David's father and the dog being called King.
Hell, I forgot the dog connection. It makes even more sense now. Are there any other entities in Marvel comics that behaves as a psychic parasite?
Any sufficiently strong telepath could probably pull it off but people who have done stuff like that isn't too high I think. Ones that come to mind off the top of my head are Selene and Caliban sort of and several others that aren't necessarily parasites but do feed on psychic energy in some fashion but don't think they had much interaction with Legion. Styx one of David's personalities sort of is. Absorbs souls and controls the bodies after and was the ringleader of the personalities that escaped. I think Proteus also had some interaction with David and also takes over bodies.
But yeah shadowking seems more likely at this point considering the appearance and the dog that doesn't exist and well he does take over the comics. Though there are some differences in the comics like his father didn't know of him till much later in life. Same with shadowking too didn't really show up till way later in life

I am going to miss this show so much after next week. I'm just glad there will be more eventually.
This episode felt more Xmen than the movies, I loved it.

This was great. Felt like Chris Claremont's writing.

At first I was like, that's a good ending and setup for the next season. Then I was like, "OOH WTF?!!"
Spoiler: show
Really enjoyed this season though, probably one of my favorite shows on TV now. Can't wait for more even though it is probably going to be a long wait.
