Anyway, don't be a derp like me and duo the XIV elites with just Thancred and Y'sh. I managed, but it was still a pain on Flayer.

Wendigo is really annoying, I just powered through on Classic but not sure what to do for Elite. Put some notes up.

What I did on classic (but it's my plan on Elite too) was to build SB's pre-boss via Lifesiphon. Then I put up mitigation on the boss and AoE'd them. HP flashes up, quickly target it with SB's (ideally boosted) and as long as you fire it off before HP disappears the move auto-targets it even though it moves. Rinse and repeat.

Not sure if the counters would be too horrible on Elite but on Classic they were pathetic.

A couple tricks on Wendigo:
-use AoE and target the real one when the HP bar appears, the game will automatically target the real one again when it moves if you have the cursor up when it does (seems to only work if the copies are countering).
-sleep the real one and bombard it with magic. Can use Lullaby as it is AoE but chances are really low... or use the trick above with the Ninja sleep spell.

He won'T switch if he sleeps? since the sleep icon doesn't show

Basically keep your cursor on the one that appears and it will show where he moves when he moves.

it's in the post but pointing out omniscient starts with regen for 3400 per tic on classic, and ends the fight casting flare on one person. pretty easy manaburn otherwise

edit: omniscient regen is 6k per tic on elite so dispel is probably mandatory

my biggest worry is the minotaur due to no magic (and I don't wanna use retaliate)

I'll probably turtle up a tank with Regen RM or w/e

The no SB's worries me more than no magic. Is it a 1 round or 3 round zone? Can you at least set-up on previous rounds?

I've read on the Strategy website that the 'no magic SB' is ONLY on the boss round

And the boss stage as 3 rounds, so you can buff up with protecga + SB on the round before boss

Makes it easier then i exptected

I'll probably use something like

Greg Drawfire + something wit ha Defensive RM
Bartz with Steal Power + something
Tyro with Fullbreak Meteor (for trash) and SG
and 2 others

PRincess Favor RM

Will probably cast protectga and RW and SG just before boss

and just rek boss

Steiner with Draw Fire + Drain Strike is probably an option to deal with it too if you set-up mitigation Round 2 and keep breaks on it. Can't think if there's anyone else with Knight + Spellblade access.
