What.... the .... fuck.... just ..... happened?......

I was fighting normal version of Gogo the mimic on the the DU, everything going great... he getting raped... than.... about 20%... some text I wasn't paying attention to since I was just doing semi-auto mode and he uses Meteor which proceeds to kill all my characters from full HP... <.<;

Did I fuck up some gimmick or something lol? Never seen a gimmick fight in DU fights...

Don't use any attacks at the start of the fight until he tells you that you passed.

I've played all the main FFs. Doesn't mean I have to remember every damn boss gimmick years and years later.

Gogo FFV is one of the fight you can't forget even if you did it only once

The game even tells you to mimic what he does "before the real fight begins". Gogo even says it when the fight starts.

also, I thought to myself "I have awesome ff5 synergy, I'm gonna try to destroy gogo."

once he goes nuts, it was meteor > whirlwind > another meteor in one turn. even with SG, cleansing strike, and MBD on (no shell), meteor hit for 4K. I reset when the second meteor went off to avoid wipe and just did it with the wait strat. He was somewhere around 30% I guess, wonder if I could have survived with shellga...

Most of the time people auto battle through classic fights.
