Honestly, I feel like the best banner overall between now and next fest is probably FF2 #2. Maria's burst is extremely powerful and has a nice relic pool overall with Minwu's burst, Josef's 40% medica ssb, and Gordon's dual offense break SB as solid consolation prizes. Ashe's burst is excellent too, but it is featured on a terrible banner with Vaan's burst being the only worthwhile consolation prize. I would personally wait until OSB fest for Ashe's burst, as it will almost certainly be featured on a much better banner, just in time for mage meta to really begin to shine.

Tidus #1 is pretty good with Yuna's medica SSB being excellent and in the 2% drop pool, and Paine's being a solid CM weapon, though Tidus's OSB suffers from needing his BSB (en-water) to make the most of it, which is not featured on that banner unlike most other OSBs which do have the corresponding en-element SB on the same banner. Wakka's burst is basically a carbon copy of Faris's but on a significantly weaker character.

So since i'm leaving for France on October 13 and i hate delaying stuff, my goal is to see if i could do DU25 + FFIX (up to +++) before leaving, so i made myself a plan and it seems to work. Will do FFIX BB on october 21 when i come back (event ends the 22 anyway)

So this could work for someone who is crazy like me!

Are you going to be so far from wifi you can't do anything during downtime? I am in Russia right now starting up a plant and even in the middle of freaking nowhere I have enough wifi access to get events done during my free time. Good thing too cuz there isn't much else to do here since our company officially banned us from the one bar after the unpleasantries.

DU 26 should be released around November 8 and here is what it will have

2 FFXI dungeons (Batalia downs and Delkfutts tower (mimas iirc)
2 FFV dungeon (forgot the names

)
1 FFVII dungeon (Wutai tower including Gogo) So a 5 boss fights
3 FFVIII dungeons (Odin, Tonberry King and Jumbo Cactuar)

Lucky draw is V VII and VIII

Core MNK is getting MC1 while core WHM is getting MC2

To be fair this specific boss was a nightmare on SCH because you couldn't heal the poison and 99% of the tanks would get all the stacks lol.

Unless you're 30+ and you just have Eos do stuff while you dps harder than that shitty LNC that does nothing but run in circles throwing spears at the boss out of melee range.

edit: I'm only joking, I've only seen DRG do that on T5 twister phase.
