So they have Jeff Goldblum back, AND they're using animatronics again. It's a little early to call, but I'm in.
Fucking trailers for trailers.
Maybe this will be the movie where they kill off Rexy to induce feels. Or maybe lead to something bigger.
So it's a Jurassic Park disaster movie? Eh. Will go see but not sure how to feel.
this looks dumb as fuck but okay i'll see it
Looks dumb and fun. Can't wait. Quill is rocking that Stache.
Why do they keep fucking with dinosaurs, and always doing it in the most asinine way?
They got rid of those useless kids from the last movie. Thank God. Christ Pratt salvaged JW so more focus on him is better. Plus Goldblum.
I'll wait for it to hit Netflix.

The comments after this trailer are no different then they were for the first one. This movie will rock, get over it. We're getting velociraptors riding t-rexes who are being ridden by Star Lord.
Random, but I'll always think of Black Mirror when I hear that song.
Honestly the last one looked dumb as hell and turned out to be basically ok.
I loved Jurassic World. This looks like dog shit. I'll still see it anyway though.
I see the same rhetoric on the Pacific Rim thread. "It's got giant robots! It'll be great!". I enjoy big summer effects movies as much as the next guy, but there's that fine line between acceptable and bad. To each their own, obviously, but "it's got [insert cool thing here]!" in it won't work for me.
I'll repeat that it looks better than the first JW tho. So there's that.

Thriller movies like this rarely have any important, complex message or observation to share about the human condition/the big questions in life and they usually don't do humor that well either, which puts any movie like this firmly on my "eh" list to begin with (same with thriller-genre books. Long sentences are apparently too much for their target audience). What decides whether I'll see a thriller/action/summer blockbuster movie pretty much boils down to
1. is it from a franchise I like (this one is)
2. does the trailer look good (this one didn't really)
3. are the reviews at least mediocre (not out yet obv)
So far I'm on the fence, but moviepass is the great equalizer now so as long as the reviews are at least decent and it's not gonna be a complete waste of my time, I'll go see it.
But yeah, action movies are just empty balls of fluff to me so whether it's "good" or "not good" is pretty much gonna come down to how believable (or FUN) the premise and acting/directing are.
Confirmed that all trailer footage is from first 57 minutes so there's a lot more to it.
I don't care I'm ready for this. Allosaurus? Heck ya. Flashbacks to baby raptors? I'm all in.
If you liked the first one even after the reaction to the first trailer I imagine you'll like this one too.

My reaction to the first JW trailier was "This movie is going to be so dumb it becomes awesome." My reaction to this is "This is going to be so dumb." I didn't see anything in there as over-the-top fun as Pratt riding an ATV with a pack of raptors.
We have a trex asleep in a truck. If they go the save the dinosaur route, I'm hoping it leads to Chris Pratt chasing a T-rex down Miami.
