Don't use up too many of your Fire abilities during the Ifrit & Shiva fight since you'll want to use them take down Valigarmanda quickly as well.

    Recommended abilities: Magic Breakdown, Shellga
    Recommended RW: SG/SS2, Boon

    Dancing Mad ++

    Boss: Kefka(~224400 HP)

    • Defeat Kefka without being KO’d.
    • Win without Terra being KO’d.
    • Afflict Kefka with Slow.

Nothing new here, you can use Carbuncle along with High Regen if you want. He is able to use regular attacks and an AoE Blizzaga so you won't be totally immune, just FYI. He can also use Confuse but it shouldn't be too big a deal.

    Weak: None
    Absorb: None
    Resist: None

    Vulnerabilities: Slow

Recommended abilities: Magic Breakdown, Shellga, Slowga/Dual Delay, Carbuncle
    Recommended RW: Boon, SG/SS2

    • Exploit Inferno’s weakness to lightning attacks.
    • Use Power Breakdown (wtf, I'm going to actually have to craft this shit!? Does Steal Power count?)

The arms will regenerate a few turns after being destroyed. Pick your poison with this guy. With both arms up he is able to use a Petrify attack. With one arm down he's able to cast Meteor. With boths arms down he's able to use Meteor and Reflect. Inferno also counters physical attacks.

      • Maduin switches between his Magic Seal Active/Inactive states based on his HP.
        • 100%: Magic Seal Active
        • 90%: Magic Seal Inactive (Normal)
        • 70%: Magic Seal Active
        • 60%: Magic Seal Inactive (Weak), 【M】Dispel happens during this phase
        • Below 60% onwards, Maduin no longer enters Magic Seal Active phase.
        • There seems to be a scripted Chaos Wave (Deals Heavy Non-elemental damage to all targets) that happens at ~50% HP.
      • Dispel removes ALL positive buffs, including SG/SS2. It is only used once throughout the whole fight and that happens when he is in his Weak state. Plan your defensive RW usage carefully.
      • He is able to cast Holy Regen on himself which heals for 7662 HP per tick. Dispel it, or record yourself damaging through it so we can see your epeen.

    Weak/Absorb/Resist/Null: None
    Vulnerabilities: None

Recommended abilities: Shellga, Banish Raid/Dispel, defensive Breakdowns, Full Break
    Recommended RW: SG/SS2

At last, all the FFVI crap this game keeps throwing at me will finally be of use.

My only dilemma is deciding if I want to combine the two red coats I have.

Also, Terra's SSB looks mighty tempting. .

    Terra is still better

Rinoa is 5 hits non-elemental 18x Multiplyer NAT
Terra is 10 hit Non-elemental 18x Multiplier Single Target

So Rinoa for multiple mobs, Terra for single mob

Hey, I tried for Rinoa's during the SSB.

    Zero luck.

So hoping for Terra's, though I do already have her Enhancer, so yeah.

May need to level up some of the other FFVI people, given the synergy I have for that realm.

I don't use her much. I would much rather have a spellblade than a stat-stick (even though it has an SSB attached) because it has utility beyond a one-and-done. If I do get it though, Terra will be my go-to-ass-kicker since she can equip pretty much everything.

I can see why it would be great if you already have a spellblade though. The MAG would allow you to go melee-heavy while keeping her SSB.

I think this is the first 40 stamina 2 fight "Boss Rush". That becomes standard here on out.

it feels like its been a while since we last got an offensive caster character, so i'm pretty happy we're getting Kefka. Also because I can actually put Meteor on him.

    That's totally understandable.

For a long time, Terra was the *only* worthwhile caster I had when I landed her Enhancer.

Then I got Vanille and Hope's relics during SSB.

I was looking and this and was thinking to go like this for the Ultimate

Mog Lv 65 Curaga R5 + Diaga R4 (Prayer of the Cetra RM)
Terra lv 65 Firaja R4 + Blizzaja R4 (Witch of Succession RM)
Steiner Lv 80 Armor Strike R4 + Banishing Blade R4 (Pride of the Red wings RM)
Celes Lv 65 Thundaga Strike R3 + Launch R5 Dr. Mog's teaching RM
Tyro lv 80 Magic Breakdown R4 + Power Steal R3 Mako Might

My goal would be to keep Celes up with Runic as often as possible for all the singe target spells
Tyro would be SG + Breakdowns
Mog would keep his HH ready for the 50% ish Dispel
Terra and Celes would do the Exploits
Steiner would be my DPS + Dispeller

Boon RW probably for Chaos wave and others

    Any opinion?
