I honestly don't see the point of the mentor roulette... the last thing I would ever want when I'm doing Trials roulette is to be teamed up with mentors that got there via their roulette who will no doubt feel inclined and justified to give a 30m speech on how to clear Ifrit HM
I guess they were probably afraid of queue times for new/solo players since they're letting us queue with a party for most of the roulettes
Based on the descriptions it sounded like they would only be lumped into the instances where there are new players that joined (<40 hours of game time) so I'm not sure if we'll see that issue at endgame.
I'm sure there are new characters with that designation still and manage to hit endgame but these players probably already know what they're doing so I don't think it'll be that big of a deal.
The new people that watch cutscenes probably will have more than 40 hours due to watching all the other cutscenes lol.
So will it be A5-A8 or M1-M4?
Spoiler: show
I honestly like the sound of G1-4 and M1-4 rather A1-4 A5-8.
I don't know what description you're referring to, but that's not what the official one says:
The "40hr of game time" limitation is for the Novice Network, which is a chat channel.Originally Posted by http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodestone/topics/detail/5986509d96ac23ee572152933a3d2c4227dfdc2e
"And I'll form the head!"
That's some nice sentai work right there, SE.
Now fix the rest of the game. Its okay, I can wait.
That's how I feel, lol
It all looks pretty, but it's just the same grind for me. I don't have time for end game, so it'll be just logging in and doing tomes till I'm capped, and Alex to fill out the other pieces. Same shit I was doing when I unsubbed. Seph fight looks cool I guess, but I do wanna see where the story goes
Ravana and Bismarck mounts:

Not holding my breath but I really hope they add Undersize mode to 3.0 content in this patch.
In the description it says Thordan ex will also have mount drop.
Oh neat.
Not looking forward to more BisEx, though. At all. Especially if it has a ~2% drop rate.
