Bump, might as well start to guess as to what the car will or will not have:

I think the Model 3 will have a scaled down infotainment screen, no upgrade options for autopilot, summon, moonroof, or air suspension.
The motor will probably be 60 kWh with 200 mile range and 0-60 somewhere between 6 and 7 seconds (up-gradable)
No option to charge at Tesla superchargers for free <-- this is a guess to cut back on cost because of the possible increase in visist the stations will see due to the model 3
Probably regular keyed entry (Model S and X have door handles that pop out when it senses the keyfob near it if I remember correctly)
Less exotic materials to choose from for the interior

That's all I can think of at the moment.

Expecting a base model with FWD, 60kW, 200mi range, up to 85kW 4WD performance model. Priced low 30s to high 50s, depending on battery/drivetrain and options. I hope they make smart decisions on interior and trim selection. I don't want to see them throwing money away on gimmicjy crap, like the door handles. Keyless entry isn't hugely expensive, but it will definitely come with more mundane door handles. You are probably right about no autonomous mode but who knows...they could make it an option on the top end.

I expect they'll let everyone use the network. Tesla will sell a lot more mid-high end 3's than stripped down models. Anyone that wants a bare bones 30k electric will flock to Chevy's Bolt (unless its total crap). Tesla is going to get swamped with orders from people that have drooled for years over an S but couldn't quite afford it. I know if they offer it I'll want one that gets to 60 in the mid/high 4s with all wheel drive instead of a stripped down electric version of every Camary out there now. Higher margins will let them cover the cost of network use.

Tesla really wants as many cars as possible out there using the charging network, even if it costs a bit short term. They want other companies to adapt their charging tech, and other companies to say "Hey, we can bring in business if we build a few charging stations". More cars on the road that can use the Tesla charging network helps drive said network's expansion. which helps sell more cars, and so forth.
