Gen 6 only introduced around 80-100 new pokemon, right? Without new types introduced though, I can't see it being below that number. Every other gen was at least 100.

This may just be me with lofty dreams, but does anyone else think we may go back to Kanto (at least in part) as a Red/Green 2? Like how silver was Kanto + Johto, what if Sun/Moon was New Zone + Kanto?

It's possible. X/Y still has plenty of room they could have slapped in a region revisit as DLC if they wanted.

Yes I realize "over 10" can be anywhere from 11 to 100000000. It was just a rather disappointing statement which was my point in comparing it. Not a good hype up. Not that over hyping is good either.

I'm all for new pokemon. I collect, so I look forward to new possible collections. Zygarde 10% was my newest addition.

I also look forward to a new game even if it'll be the same story, different characters, etc. For whatever reason I just could not get into OR AS at all. I think the only remake I would like would be Kanto/Johto. Johto being my favorite.

If anyone cares, here's the breakdown of new pocket mans added in each generation:

Gen I - 151 new mans
Gen II - 100 new mans
Gen III - 135 new mans + 3 Castform Forms + 3 Deoxys Forms
Gen IV - 107 new mans + 5 Rotom Forms + 1 Giratina Form + 1 Shaymin Form
Gen V - 156 new mans + 1 Darmanitan Form + 1 Thunderus Form + 1 Tornadus Form + 1 Landorus Form + 2 Kyurem Forms + 1 Keldeo Form + 1 Meloetta Form
Gen VI - 72 new mans + 48 new Mega Evolved mans + probably 2 Zygarde Forms + 1 Hoopa Form
Gen VII - At least 9 starters and the 1 absolutely retarded legendary pokeball/pocketwatch thing

The guy at Gamestop in Lincoln said "if" they get them they don't get nearly enough. I've already missed Mew because of that. Didn't realize Celebi was digital until it was too late. I assumed it was another code and didn't bother because of the way I work. I got Jirachi atleast.

Hope the information is finally something other than trolling. Shows me starters and legendaries! I'd love to know pre order bonuses to decide who I'm going with.
