Yeah, I usually just watch most anime openings and endings once and then just skip them after that, unless they are really great.

Kind of disappointed that this first episode was all just filler/recap, but at least they got it out of the way now and can move on next week.

I’m fairly astonished at the number of people on other [lesser] forums that think the new OP is either bad, worse than other MHA OPs, or just “the visuals don’t go with the song”. I think it’s amazing. I’ll give that the build-up is arguably a bit long with the false drop @ :59, and the chorus payoff with All Might going ham is too short, but what a minor quibble.

Kinda forgettable on my end, but shounens always run into this once they run long enough and have had multiple OPs/EDs. Sorta like picking the best FF.

Well fucked. Just found out about this show. Ended up binging all 3 seasons in a few days, then read through all of the manga. Fucking incredible, but now I have to wait with the rest of you

When it first started I was kind of skeptical. It seemed to cater too much to the young crowd (which, given that it is shounen jump, that’s not surprising). But it gets surprisingly dark and heavy and the real gravitas of the situation some of the story arcs have isn’t shy’d away from. Definitely one of the mangas I look forward to each week now

Its crazy, but the only OP I like in anime in general is Haruka Kanata from Naruto, way back when. I don't even like CHA LA. Its too old at this point.
