Glad he got paid, though I suspect his influence in Jacksonville will be substantially worse than it's been in Denver. Still, $40M+ guaranteed means even if he's cut, he's set.

sounds about right to me. great player, young, jacksonville had a lot of money to spend, and about the price you pay at that position.

i'm glad he got paid too. he helped the team win and did some really good things. but he had to go. bringing him back even for 12m a year would have had a detrimental effect on the team's cap. we'll be a lot more flexible without him.
