^ Pretty much. Same for most DPS. Push healers to the brink of using Attunement, then capitalize on them not being able to act by bopping a wayward DPS or tank.

There's a group of people streaming 4v4 atm that are known to roll with the gilgamesh flee hackers (you may have seen them in Frontlines catching up to you on a mount and killing you). They're hiding their hotbars, and claim to be diamond rank already according to the stream title. Makes me wonder if they're doing something fishy since they're both hiding their hot bars... Why hide your hot bars otherwise?

Gotta stop those stream snipers seeing your PvP cooldowns yo. Highly competitive XIV PvP. They don't seem to be doing anything fishy, ACT callouts to keep track of people using PvP skills is a little scummy but not really anything you can do about that and if you have decent awareness of what's going on in a match you can usually catch most of that stuff yourself anyway.

Is there anything tanks (war) should be doing besides just be an ass towards healers till they pop attunement? Certain matches starting to bug me recently.

Depends on the setup, but I found more success sticking a melee dps on healer and having war and another dps just double team players one at a time. Stun and holmgang at start basically ensures a dead dps if the healer is busy.

I love how unnoticed MNK goes because everyone is still scared shitless of SMNs. I still get out damaged by decent SMNS but people don't realize a MNK can also drop you really fast fully buffed. Just takes more work.

I honestly feel like SMN's only advantage when it comes to burst is their range. I pretty exclusively SMN and DRG in PVP, and my successful burn rate is considerably higher on the latter.

well, if you think about it drg should absolutely have a better burn rate. auto crit, gap closers, multiple stuns, magic immunity, up to 40% gravity. fit it all inside a boosted fetter ward and sometimes even the best healers are powerless to stop you.

if i had a pvp main, i think i'd say it's smn. but i've been having a lot of fun playing mnk on solo because i get targeted less and sometimes i just wanna turn off my brain and mash buttons.

that said i feel like i lose any semblance of game awareness when i do it, and in turn i think i have way less impact on a game. but still, it's nice to just not care lol
