They're pretty fun games, but are quite text heavy. Overall they're still fun games and worth checking out.

Just finished SC yesterday (46 hours) so was pretty sad knowing that the last time I read about it the 3rd one wasn't confirmed for anything and then boom - here's the info. Really happy. And Cold Steel too ^^ Now all we need is them to work on Zero and Azure games :D

I'm sure we'll get Trails of Zero on Steam at some point if they're willing to translate TitS 3rd, which I'm excited for since I felt like Trails of Cold Steel did have references to Zero.

I also assume that "Scarecrow" guy from the Nord Highlands chapter is from Zero too. I saw some artwork of ToZ and he does seem resemble one of the characters

I really need to get on the train and finish 2nd Story so I can move on.

Did the original game ever make it onto PSN? I bought the first one off GOG, but kind of like having everything on one platform if possible for replay factors later on.

FC/SC are on PSN for psp/vita. The Third will never come out on PSN because localizing a PSP game in 2017 isn't financially viable and xseed has explicitly stated so
