Thanks friend-o.
Thanks friend-o.
I need to get Netflix already. ^^;
Anyone want to share their netflix so I can watch this D: ? lol
Just finished it.
Spoiler: show
That would seem to be the implication.
I just finished as well. Was really enjoyable overall. Def had a Korra feel to it, not a bad thing.
Spoiler: show
Some news in season 2.
of course this depends on Netflix release schedule. Hopefully it means S2 by November or December.
Nice. As was said before, 11 episodes were way too short for a single season.
Really enjoying this. Haven't gotten through with this run yet but glad to hear there is a S2 in the works.

Rewatched a bit of this...anyone else think they went a bit too overboard on comic relief? Both in the number of characters and situations. Had a friend who'd never seen the original straight up nope and walk out after that first scene with Coran, and after a bit I had to agree.
I won't really disagree, but I also try to remember this probably isn't aimed at adults.
Gotta retract these words. Just rewatched the original voltron formation. Keith was always in red and Sven was the one in black. Holy shit nostalgia bomb correction! Also realized how many throwbacks the new series does justice to the original. God damn can't wait for the second season!
Just finished the first season the other night, loved it. I can't agree with you about the comic relief...more and more they are making these "family shows" which means some jokes for the adults, some for the kids. Yes a couple of the jokes fell flat for me but I never felt like there was too much comic relief ( it's not Game of Thrones, after all XD ), and for every meh joke there were a ton of really good ones. If you are going to watch a family show with the intent to enjoy it, you have to be willing to forgive a couple lines that aren't aimed at your age bracket.
Rhys Darby is just fucking killing it. It's like the show was made for him.
