Translator already confirm they are working on Season 3, but who knows when Netflix will release it(season 2 was finished and ready to air for 3 months).
Just watched the second season. Enjoyed it, also seems they had toned down the comic relief just enough that I found it no longer grating. Though I did cringe on how they played out a "time loop" working, which well, wouldn't have worked like that (on Corran) at all. But ok.
Favorite scene: the Groot knockoff. Yup.
I thought the time loop was pretty funny, even if it did run one scene too long imo. But I really enjoyed the action this season and all the plot lines going. Really can't wait for season 3 and more Rhys

Season 3 in September.
Key element of Netflix’s massive push for original family content. 78 episode commitment
26 episodes scheduled for 2017
13 in January
13 in September
10 episodes of Classic Voltron, with new content added, premiere on Netflix in March
Additional Second Screen content pre-Easter, with more content throughout the summer
Cross-category marketing events throughout the year - including a Burger King Kid’s Meal partnership
Prince Lotor reveal April Fool version. beside the cow's face the whole scene is legit. there is also another trailer "cam Rip" with scenes from S3 with Prince Lotor narration but it's awful(Fangirls wouldn't shut up).
Meh.
That's all I can come up with.
Voltron: Legendary Defender is less than a year old and it's already collapsing in on itself. a Twitter poster is blackmailing the studio with the leaks to get Klance(a gay relationship between Keith and Lance) made endgame. Studio Mir is in big trouble, This is reason for legal action and can ruin lives. More than the show getting cancelled, people will lose their jobs and Studio Mir may hit with a financial crisis if Dreamworks sues.
Edit:I forgot to mention Studio Mir has zero input with the plot. they just animate the show.
you want to know how sad and pathetic this shipping war is?
I don't get it. If Studio Mir only draws whatever plot comes to them, why would DreamWorks be pissed at them?
