Thought it was great, great casting some really great scenes. Loved Homelander when he was on banshee, he did an amazing job. Didnt realize it was him at first.

I thought it was pretty solid, excellent cast
there are some pretty egregiously bad acting moments from some of the non billy/homelander/hughie actors but solid for the most part
Simon Pegg’s role also really fucked me up. So random
Just finished. Goddamn that was a good show. Hell of a cliffhanger for s2.
I'm on ep4 and I'm really not a big fan of it. It's ok. It feels WAY too tryhard.
is it the dicks
I read the comic series and while there are some good things in there it's basically a hodgepodge of Garth Ennis stock characters and an extended take on why he hates superheroes. There are some good jokes in there but especially as it heads towards the end it just becomes a rush to kill everyone. Maybe the show will be different.

Just started the comics this morning. So far I like the show a lot more. The comics is basically the show with the weird sex and rape amped up 5000%. Same amount of gore, but its different, if that makes any sense.

Amazon forced the show to cut a jerking off scene because they said it "wasn’t necessary."
There was ONE SCENE that Amazon said F*CK NO, you have to cut. I couldn’t quite understand why considering everything else we have in the show, but: Homelander, after being dressed down by Stilwell [Elisabeth Shue] in episode 2, was standing on one of the Chrysler building Eagles. He pulled his pants down and started jerking off, mumbling “I can do whatever I want” over and over again until he climaxed all over New York City. We shot it! Oh my God, Anthony was the BEST in that scene.

Amazon also announced that the show was one of their most watched originals, but refused to give numbers.
I just finished it, I enjoyed it.
personally thought it was a really strong first season and they did a good job keeping the amount of characters small so that you didn't have to do much "who's that person again?" type of thing. i'm sure the costumes helped with this
Watched the first two episodes then read the comic till issue #17. This shit crazy.

Couldn't believe that homelander is the dude from banshee, blew my mind when I realized it
