Wtf is a SJW friendly show? Diverse cast? Minorities? LGBQT+?
Serious question.

I’d no clue because they move the goalposts all the time. A safe bet is Diverse cast, any talk about body positivity, Power relationships in the workplace, anything trans related, any talk about privilege would on its face be regarded as SJW-friendly by those people. It’s really annoying because for as much as they complain that the SJWs making everything about race, cast 1 black lead and it’s automatically leftist drivel to them.
i saw one of the user reviews complaining about the inclusion of lesbians into the show and it's like son Maeve being bi was a p big part of season 1
if you want to help your brain smooth over
Season 1 was a huge hit and a lot of fun, so what do they do? The creators decide that season 2 has to teach viewers a lesson. Now, according to the creators, it's about white supremacy, the Trump administration, and every other current grievance. Sounds fun? It's not.
I don't know why shows can't stick with entertaining people anymore, but The Boys, like so many other shows, has fallen victim to the current political trends of Hollywood. Even if you enjoyed season 1 like I did, you should give this a pass
Not up to Season 1 standards; the plot has barely moved in 3 episodes, we are pretty much where we started at the beginning of the season. A lot "check boxing" going on too (GirlPower! Lesbians! muh Patriarchy!, Raaaacism!) that does not help move the barely existent plot.
Homelander is still a complete gem though (never change Homelander!)... Hughie on the other hand has been turned into a quivering cuck which is unfortunate
https://twitter.com/akarelk/status/1...310111232?s=21 Oh no I don’t think Nike(Edit:I mean Complex) knows what Stormfront is.
Seems like that's not Nike themselves making the customs but still, dumb.
Season 2 is being much less subtle about it's underlying message, so maybe people just really stupidly missed everything in Season 1. Like how it took some people a couple years to realize Colbert was doing a character on the Colbert Report?
new ep is up btw
