Having an issue with 2nd hdmi display not showing up

Hi, just cut on the new computer and I'm trying to get my 2nd display to work

my lgtv is plugged into the 1 hdmi slot on the 970 and I'd like another hdmi tv as my 2nd display, can I not use the hdmi ports on the mobo? the 2nd tv worked alone when it was plugged into the 970 but this is all I get with the 2nd plugged into the mobo

nothing I do on that page gets this to work so I'm not sure what to do, pls halp

Either your processor doesn't have integrated video, you haven't installed its display drivers, or it's just turned off in whatever control program that's for it. What mobo/cpu do you have? It might be simpler to get an adapter/cable and use the ports on your 970, like dvi to hdmi or dp to hdmi, in any case.

Depending on the i7 model, it probably has integrated gfx, so that port should work if the drivers are there. There might also be an option in your mobo's bios to enable onboard gfx, and it might need to be set as primary. This is usually auto-disabled when you have a gfx card in place.

bah turns out I just suck, I didnt think the single link dvi cable would work for the dual link one on the graphics card- had to dig through boxes but all of this is irrelevant now!

Thank you for the help orinthia
