Why just save Peter? Why not change it up in the helicopter? "You know what guys, you're right, the wind warning does make this too dangerous. But Domino can go cause she'll just be lucky and me? You'd be amazed what parts I can grow back." Then you have all those characters available if you wanna use em later, and just in character it makes that much more sense.

And yes, spoilered that. I wouldn't want to have that ending ruined.
