I avoid Asus just because of their RMA process. 2/3 bad experiences with them. The one positive was they bumped my 290x to a 390x.

Yeah, unfortunately I never knew. My 2 RMA processes in the past were with EVGA and Antec, both of which were phenominal
I've done RMAs with Corsair, PNY, and MSI as well and all were great. I've heard PowerColor can be quite difficult. But like anything there could be 10000 people praise a company and another 10000 damning them. However, I do think Asus is pretty much universally hated when it comes to their RMA process.
Logitech are great for RMA, had every single one approved and new warranty with each product.
Done 2 mice and a headset with them.
This 1070 RMA is from Zotac, but the RMA is going through the seller as that's how UK law works ( and eu ) so it's through ebuyer who are known cunts.
A few years ago they had a staff competition over the christmas period that ranked staff based on how many RMAs they rejected. :/

That's messed up...
Someone posted on /r/buildapcsales a different motherboard showing 4 pack and people are going bananas lol.
oh nice. yet another new subreddit to lurk. thank you sir
Usually Slickdeals.net is quicker on the sales, but that sub will find other things like the Ryzen R7 1700X + Gigabyte RX 580 8GB Gaming for $605. I bought that and flipped the RX to get the Ryzen on the cheap.
Got it. T-minus 7 hours til confirmation of 4 (winning) or 1 (slight fail) boards.

Received one. Went through chat. Chat were asshats. Called in. Said they will make it right and will be back with me within the next 24-48 hours. Will update once I get word.
They'll ship you 3 more because they are obligated to do so but it was clearly a mistake sale.
I need a wired PS1/PS2 controller to play some PS games on my computer. I'd prefer as close to OEM as possible. Dual Shock fo sho. <3
or PS3/PS4. I don't care as long as it works with FF7 on PC.
PS4 controllers are compatible with bluetooth on PC natively I thought?
DS3 works no probs with SCP Toolkit https://github.com/nefarius/ScpToolk...v1.6.238.16010
DS4 works with steams controller stuff a bit better ( universal compatibility and mapping ).
Either will work, although DS4 is probably simpler setup wise if you dont have time to fuck around.
Steam Controller is really good though, you should've picked one up in the sale last week
Pretty much every controller will work thru Steam's interface these days, and like Kalmado was saying, if you add your emulators (or other games) to Steam you can just use that shit for everything.
https://scottrice.github.io/Ice/ let's you add specific ROMs/ISOs, and you can launch the emulator with specific settings or controller configs.
I'm basically gonna use steam to play all my games now and forever.
Ordered PS4 controller and connector dongle thing. It'll be here Sunday.
Got 1 (slight fail). The board will still be put to good use anyway so no worries there. Spoke with phone rep. Said nothing indicates that it was ever a 4-pack. Saw the previous email from the previous rep and asked me to send in my screenshot as well. They'll get back to me by Monday at the latest.
They got back to me. Said it was a lightning deal and I missed it. Won't honor. Sad times.
