The same reason I do everything in my life.
Cause I wanna.
The practical applications of this kind of setup basically don't exist but if I ever choose to be a true neckbeard and run an entire party in XI by myself I'm set

I'm envious. I bought a dual screen arm mount awhile back but found out I needed quite a bit of space behind the desk to use it due to the arms.
I am just going with a standard pole. Not as much range of movement but much cleaner
is a nice looking 38" ultrawide my dude i was thinking of upgrading from my 34"
Tbh the extra vertical fov from the slightly higher res is one of the reasons I took the plunge too. I'll let you know if it actually makes any difference
I feel like i’m the only one who has not tapped into ultrawide. Nor do i want to as fighting games are not ultrawide friendly and i’m happy with 1440p, and they don’t feel as fast for FPS games. I can only see the benefit of playing ffxiv on the ultrawide.
I tried something like this before. I run over/under ultra wides now, the side monitors are completely unnecessary and a waste of desk space and are not aesthetically pleasing.
I used a monitor on top but looking for more than 30 seconds made my neck hurt. Monitors on the side in portrait mode, now that’s a good combo.
My current setup, swapped the top monitor for a TV that I was using for the Switch or the occasional football game. Most things go on the side monitors.
I don't ever see a need for two side monitors in portrait mode lol

One side usually has discord and the other side doesn’t get too much use unless I have a game guide/walkthrough open then its very nice.
Better than mine. Ignore the dust. It's an older pic from last month:
I really wish I had a corner desk but the layout of this room sucks. Window sill sticks out a bit and the only other viable corner is on the other side so I'd have to run either the Coax or Ethernet cable around the room.
EKWB 3090 FE Special edition blocks up for preorder as of about 15 minutes ago.
Friend was able to grab one of the 500EU codes during the live event and got us blocks for free.
I've given Arctic 2 weeks to respond to a tech support ticket, but nothing (even though their site says it should not take longer than 48 hours). Returning the AIO and moving on. Their rev.3 bracket solution makes it incompatible with a lot of motherboards, so many people have been requesting rev1/2 mounting hardware.
Anyone have an argument for Corsair Capellix (or Pro XT) versus Kraken X73? I will be replacing fans with SL120s.
Haven't ever liked corsair AIOs but they perform fine, however you can't perform maintenance on them. I have been enjoying my EK AIO and it has a handy fill port for later when it starts chugging.
Corsair and NZXT Kraken if i’m correct use the same engineering (Asetek (sp?)) so the performance more or less are the same but the fans help massively. I have the H115i from Corsair and it works damn good for my stuff. Used it on both my 2700X and 5800X now.
Had 3080 in my best buy cart this morning but every pick up location I chose didn't work until they all disappeared
The new Corsair Cappellix no longer use Asetek, but PRO XT and previous all do. I actually have a H115i that is performing amazing right now, but I want to get the SL120 fans I have on an AIO and out of my closet lol. They are actually sitting on this Arctic AIO, who have absolutely horrendous customer support. You can't even create an account on their ticketing site. If you try, you just get a validation message "check red fields below" - none are red.
