Posted the high res first, but they are gigantic on BG and I cannot stand when ppl do that.
I've considered a really nice desk when I have more room and I'm for sure not moving for a long time. For right now I'm using a cheapo L shaped desk from Amazon. Have the ultrawide mounted on the long end of the L, the regular monitor mounted on the corner as a secondary screen and the screen that my PS5 is hooked onto.
You would have to have a really high end setup to take advantage of that without turning settings way down or using frame gen.
I don't play esports games and even I think it's crazy.

Just want to shoutout Krandor and Jamison for the rec on the monitor. Should be arriving by the end of this week.
Likely gonna lean on you all again when it comes time to spec a new PC build, though I'd like to kick that can down the road. Used to build them myself, but these days I'm fine paying a guy to do it given how cheap it is, how much time it saves me, and how much better the cable management looks.
Nice as my case is, might go for something more compact.
Honestly the 7x3D chips are solid, and AMD said they will be supporting AM5 at least through 2028, so can still build now and upgrade a few years later.
My bigger concern would be a compact case as GPU's are hitting PS5 level of huge.
Issues of degradation aside, right now if your system is primarily gaming, AMD has been king, especially on power efficiency. If you are doing heavy processor intensive stuff, Intel is tops, but their processors, especially the I9's are getting into needing their own nuclear reactor to power them.
