If you're gonna be looking at a laptop make sure to find out what the TGP of the GPU is.

It's a serious shit show with this generation of laptops, and the performance differences can be pretty massive.

Mobile 3080s can be pretty good if you find a model with a decent upper power limit. Thta said depending on your circumstances you may want to look into a DTR, even last Gen gpus beat the mobile ampere chips and DTRs pack nearly full power chips.

My A51m has a 200w 2080 for example. They don't compromise on cpu power either, they're just usual socketed desktop chips.

Def what I'd recommend for a laptop if you don't need a razor thin 3lb notebook.

There were 3 really well priced ones with 10% off and 100 mail ins on newegg today (and for a few more minutes). Picked up the MSI alpha 15 144hz 4800H 5600M 1TB M2 for 799.10 plus tax. Almost spent $385 more on the GL65 2070 super model but then I would definitely rule out upgrading my PC for a long time.

I had the 2070super in my cart for hours. Even after purchasing I've debated cancelling and ordering the 2070s. But it's hard to justify over 1000, let alone over 1200, when this could be had for 800 with better battery and cpu and basically a 2060.

From everything I've read the 3060 was not the play anyway, so I'd have to spend even more than the 2070s for a 3000 series. I'm not looking to replace my PC that shit has an ultra wide lol.

Also at this point all I do anymore is arenas/rbgs in wow and play rocket league. I have a huge steam backlog with some big games like the witcher that I still haven't gotten to but I don't plan on buying any other games for a long time.

me mouse sides are falling to pieces and don't really wanna superglue em back on. you nerds swear by any mouse in particular? have bigger hands, gaming wise mostly strategy and RPG with only light FPS with pals so don't need the precision of the world.

I recently got an Asus ROG Chakram, and I'm absolutely loving it.

It has a weird gimmick with a joystick on the side that I honestly never use, but it's just an all around comfortable mouse with the best bluetooth performance I've ever seen from a mouse.

I'd also take a look at a Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro SE (fuck that's a mouth full) since you got bigger hands like you said, and there's always the old faithful Logitech G502

I just get whatever I can find in a left handed version lol. Currently my 2nd or 3rd Razer Viper. Good mouse, but I FPS a lot so they start misclicking in 6-9 months.

For a simple mouse, razer deathadder has been my go to for years. For extra button's the razer naga and the logitech are the best.

I know this because I'm a scumbag that bought 8 mice from amazon tried them all out for a week and returned 7.

I've had several of the Deathadder as well, same deal, solid mouse for low-frills use, starts missing clicks randomly in a year or so under heavy use.

I'd recommend the Corsair Ironclaw but it broke on me 3 times so I can't do so in good faith.

I did recently buy a Naga Pro Wireless and, while I am usually loathe to give Razer any money, the optical switch means the likely hood of having a double click failure is much lower and that's how most of my mice have failed in the past. Also has 3 exchangeable side panels with different button layouts which is neat. Very pricey though.

Can also get optical switches without the bells and whistles by going for something like a Roccat Burst Core or Burst Pro. Exceptional mice with a low failure rate and low price.

After 3 years of mining 24/7, one of my Nvydia finally gave up. To top it off, the warranty had just expired. So I reached out to the EVGA guys, they tried to assist me, but yeah, the gpu had failed. Filed an RMA, sent it, etc. etc. a replacement is on its way with a 3 year warranty. Outstanding service, and phenomenal products. Will probably sell since I can get around a grando and buy the dip kek.
