Just saw it. It was okay. Unfortunately other than Denzel and Ethan Hawke the amazing cast was just not really given enough room to make use of their talents. Lots of wasted screen-time for Pratt's character while somehow not developing the character.

6/10. I wish I could say it was as great as a movie with this line-up should be, but it was pretty underwhelming.

I was afraid of this; with only 2hr 13min to develop characters and still spend enough time on the actual defending of the city, it seemed like they'd run into development problems. Sad, cause the source material is great.

Wow just saw it and it was as magnificent as the title suggests but they really should have called it "Magnificent 100 emoji"

Astylla and I just got back from seeing it. While I agree they could have developed the supporting cast a bit more, we really enjoyed it.

The Comanche did feel shoehorned in and undeveloped. D'Onofrio and the Mexican could have used a bit more, but had enough to get by.

I can't really compare it to the old western since I've never seen it. And while I have seen Seven Samurai, since that has three and a half fucking hours to work with, it doesn't feel fair to try with that.

Like, without getting too much into spoilers, the whole scene at the beginning with Pratt and the two brothers went on for a very long time and didn't really tell us anything we hadn't already learned from how he acted in the bar with Denzel.

Still thought it was a good movie overall.
