It played before Thor so I'm guessing everyone saw it at least.

It sorta bothers me this is called Jumanji 2 because there was definitely another one before this one.
Dunno if I saw the new Jumanji trailer. Definitely saw the trailer for Rampage though. Took me at least half the trailer to realize what it was
I read the book like a month ago. I think it’s literally the same game but it changed form to entrap a new generation aka what the trailer for jumanji 2 had it do.
Zathura is correct. It was marketed to be in the same world as Jumaji though it had no mention of the previous board game.

Amazon Prime members can purchase tickets for an early showing on December 8th.
So uh, this was a pretty great, fun movie. I loved it.
Spoiler: show
Jack Black and the Rock are both national treasures.
Movie was a lot better than I expected and had legit funny moments.
Spoiler: show
Dethroned Star Wars at the box office after only three weeks, pretty big achievement.
"only 3 weeks"
Not really that big an achievement.
% wise yes, but when it was so front loaded, it was able to offset it. Not like Jumanji is going to come close to raking in the dollars TLJ did.
It was a pretty good movie.
I saw it, I wasn't laughing my ass off, or bored out of my mind. There were maybe 6 or so parts that made me go "ha". If I had to give it a number, I'd say... like 5.5/10
I liked it, and so did my 12-yo daughter. Had some funny stuff.
We watched the original Jumanji last Friday, which she didn't enjoy, but man, it aged horribly.

Jumanji now the only other movie ever besides Titanic to debut at #1 in December and still be #1 in February.
