Hahah, set up my U team earlier in the day and was doing last second preparation just now before entering battle, but not really... didn't even have Lightning and Ice to fulfill medal requirements. There goes 60 stamina.

By the way, quick question, is there any spellblade fist user besides Tyro?

As for the first fight, just be advised to anyone who does use Lightning/CB, that Raijin absorbs lightning, so you may want to just use ST on Fujin at the start. Otherwise, only time I was really in danger was when Seifer popped off a nearly 3k Firaga when SG went down. RW'd Might Guard for both. Team wasn't much different from spoiler aside swapping Bartz for Lightning and squeaking weaknesses in and Bioga (strikes).

Had to sl once on ult due to a bad start and ramza getting raped before I could do anything. Ult+ took 4 tries, was a little low on damage so just rotated some abilities around.

U+ was a bit rough with low synergy. Would definitely recommend having a decent hone on banishing blade for the last portion. It will waste a lot of turns putting regen back up if you keep dispelling it, which just means less rounds of ultima/meteor/ultima weapon.

Ughhhh I hate SS2... it's too hard to keep up and keep everyone topped off...

Having to restart Ultimate with a few changes to get mitigation up quicker.

I have a different problem. Between SG, SS2, Medica II, and Tailwind, I can survive no problem, but I went into U with Crushing Blow RW and forgetting I don't have native Hastega and terrible VIII synergy, so I didn't even have the firepower to close the deal.

Knew I should've went with Shout meta! Now to wait for stamina...

ultimate had to s/l once because i just got ruined before i could get a round off. mastered at -3 medals with something like

ramza / magic breakdown/power breakdown (shout)
auron / fire blossom/lifesiphon (banishing blade)
terra / blizzaja/thundaja
steiner (69) / 3* wind/bio (sword art stock break)
relm / curaja / protectca (portrait)

only synergy gear is a lone revolver and an estharian helmet. pretty much exhuasted my abilities by the end because steiner died right before i killed the wind guy with seifer still at ~2/3 health or so.

u+ is a work in progress, thankfully the orb rewards from ultimate gave me exactly enough to hone full break to R2.

Lost 3 medals on Ultima Weapon; 2 damage and 1 action. He spammed Ultima Blade at the end instead of regen, I only used Banishing Strike once. Got him down to about 40% with Lifesiphon and Breaks and then just spammed SB's and Saints Cross. Damage wasn't capped even with HotE, but was doing 7-8k/hit. Mitigation was fine without Power BD or Steal Power.

1/3 on u+, mastered with 1 medal lost on damage taken. first couple attempts i wiped because DPS was spread evenly which allowed for too much incoming damage past 50%, got completely overwhelmed by AoEs.

cleared it by going shout > lifesiphon/breaks etc. until 50-60%ish, then queue shout/apoc shield/SG/medica and chain SSB's/saint's cross until it died. even with full break + banishing blade + shout + apoc i wasn't capping damage on most skills.

1/2 on this setup for U with full medals. First try Ramza ate 7k worth of damage on the first two turns, lol.

Knew I shouldn't have wasted 100 mythril on 11 pulls.

Mastered both fights 1/1 even though my only synergy gear is Seifer's coat (and the atk +30 accessory reward for U+)

Ultimate + was kinda stressful near he end but fun

1/7 or so on U. The trio kept focusing the same person on the first round. I ended up winning with 4 members because I couldn't get a clean start.

1/2 on U+ though, he did Ultima x3 at like 40% on the first go and I couldn't keep up.

Overall not bad at all.

That Ultima Weapon.... Bleh. Was so close to 1/1.

1/1 on Ultimate, very easy fight for me. Brought Blindga with Leon and Break Fever on Tyro+ Light spamming her SSB. Order was Fuijin > Seifer > Raijin.
Had to s/l twice on Ultima to get SG timing right: the first time I ate a Meteor when it fell off and got a shitload of damage despite Full Break, Magic Breakdown and Shellga resulting in Leon's death. Second time it killed one of my guys immediatly because I didn't get it up soon enough. Third time it also spammed Regen at the end so I was pretty lucky.
No medals lost on Ultimate, 1 lost for damage taken on Ultimate+.
Overall my VIII sinergy is pretty good, I'm really worried about Cagnazzo though. My IV sinergy is crap and I don't wanna pull on those banners.
