Said fuck it and preordered. Between Brill's post and what I've seen myself of gameplay I don't mind dropping $50 on this. (Which btw it's $50 on amazon rn for PC)
I'm looking forward to the game, its been a long time since a 3rd person Star Wars game. I know it wont be KOTOR but looking forward to it none the less. My only gripe is you can't create your own MC
SkillUp said at x019 today, that everyone he talked to about the game said it was solid
He also tweeted out that he played some today and "In the brief time I played it, it felt like the best thing to happen to Star Wars since KOTOR and the SWTOR leveling experience. I cannot wait to play through this thing when I'm home"
So reviews are up now and it's as I suspected it seems like the review embargo was just EA doing EA things, cause it's getting great reviews.
I'm watching Max play this and holy everloving fuck is this incredible...
Games fucking incredible so far
I’m having a blast so far. So much fun
My dude refused to read any reviews now that it's out. He's terrified he did a bad job lol.
I’ll be excited for the Jim Sterling interview where he shouts NOW THIS IS POD RACING anytime something fun happens. Never gets old.
It's not really doing anything new, but it's a wonderful mashup of a bunch of games (Tomb Raider/Uncharted/Sekiro) and holy fuck does it look good on PC.
Speaking of, the Origin integration thru Steam seems pretty much invisible. It isn't leaving anything extra running in the background when you're not playing (it'll automatically close Origin if it wasn't already running) and doesn't seem to have an issue with going offline besides requiring an offline login.
I cannot wait to get home from work to play this today.
I’m loving this game and realizing I have more hack and slash tendencies than I thought lol.

DF covers the Xbox S/X versions and GB does PS4 Pro. Seems like the console versions have minor visual glitches, while the XS has various points where it freezes to load in templates (sometimes mid-battle). GB determined that the Pro version on Boost Mode is janky, while DF's 1X on Performance Mode runs almost flawlessly. XS runs bad and feels bad. I'm sure the regular PS4 is much the same.
Almost all the games I play on PC I use a controller.
I really only use kb/m for strategy, arpg and most fps games
