Hmmm don't really remember that scene. Anyone got a link to a clip of it?

It was just after this scene, T'Challa grabbed Bucky's arm and his ring was close to it, camera focused on it for a while.

In terms of what that thing was, the wikipedia page for Vibranium has info on antarctic Vibranium:

...native to the Savage Land. This variation produces vibrations of a specific wavelength that break down the molecular bonds in other metals...

Don't think Bucky's arm's Vibranium because it'd be difficult to blast his arm off if it were. T'Challa's ring evidently has some sort of magnetic/metal-disrupting thing going on.

Yeah I saw that scene just couldn't find this whole ring thing that people are talking about so I couldn't really say what it was though suspected might have a throw back to Antarctic as his claws are made of it and it tends to disrupt all metals but without seeing this scene it's hard to say

It wasn't ripped off at the base, it was about maybe three or four inches down his bicep.
