i personally dont want to sell my 980ti on ebay becayse they will eat like 15% of my sale. I have never used amazon but when i tried it seemed like I cant sell for free on amazon, I have to pay $39?

I put it up on ebay for $400 and free shipping. Got 11 views and two best offers for $325 and $350 in like 10minutes 0.0

I only put up a picture of the box too. Too lazy to open case.

Amazon just has fees, just like Ebay. Amazon fees are calculated based on the category being sold and you can purchase your shipping for any carrier from them. I'd say it's usually around 10% where as Ebay/Paypal is usually combined around 13%. Also, Amazon has had my back immediately on issues where as with Ebay the seller is always wrong until proven otherwise.

yeah. I'll end up selling the 1080 for 1080 ti >.> but I think I come out better ditching 980 ti now. Really glad I got what I could for it.

Unless 1080 overclocked models hit the spot for me. Which they might.

Would really like to jump on the AMD 480 RX when it comes out on the 29th. Is there a certain time on say newegg when it comes available?

When I was looking to get my monitor when it came out, I found a website that tracked numerous products on websites and would send you an alert as soon as they come in stock. I plan on using it for the 1080s when the goodo nes come out. I'm not sure it will work until the items actually have a webpage created for them on each site though.

alerts via text message and/or email. Got text at 3am when monitor was in stock and bought it.

super awesome website for these things. When I was looking for my monitor, it would randomly get in stock at like 3 am, then no stock for days, then back up at 1pm, then out of stock, then stocked up again later that day. ITs crazy how items are in and out.

The website also lets you see the history for items when they came in stock on each site.

1070 review out. I'm going to get one of these and overclock it. Ill use it until 1080ti comes out. 1080 is nice but the price tag is ridiculous.
1070 can be OC'd pretty closely to 1080 for $300 less.

I'm going 1070 for sure, but I'm hoping to find a 3rd-party one with a blower-type fan. My case is too small/densely-packed to have that heat left inside the case.

Based on what? The initial benches they brought out for the 480X (albeit one game) were pretty impressive for "rebrands". Aren't they also a small architecture?

480X (Polaris 10) is not a rebrand; nor is Polaris 11 (mobile/low-power version of Polaris 10 I think). Vega (successor to Fury) will also be a new GPU. Re-branding, if it happens at all, will be last-gen cards getting renamed into the current-gen scheme.
