    Additional Plots and Housing Price Adjustments



    Patch 3.3 will see the addition of new plots in all residential districts. Furthermore, housing prices will be adjusted and unified for all Worlds based on current population counts and economic conditions.

    Additional Plots
    Wards 9 through 12 will be added to all residential districts. Subdivisions will also be available in these new wards, resulting in a total of 240 new plots of land for each district.

    Price Adjustments
    Each World was originally placed in one of several pricing groups based on population and economic climate. However, after reviewing the current conditions of each World, we have decided to unify the starting prices for land on all Worlds starting with patch 3.3. The designated prices for all plots of land will be reduced every six hours, dropping to half of the original price over the course of thirty days.

    Price reduction was unexpected, I was ready for them to jack up the prices since a lot of people are just sitting on large sums of gil right now. Thinking I might upgrade to a medium for my personal house, the new prices aren't bad at all. 720 new plots per server probably still isn't enough on the higher pop servers but at least they're doing something. A couple of my friends just flat out stopped playing because they couldn't play housing fantasy XIV so hopefully all the plots aren't sold by 30 minutes after the patch goes live again.

    Wasn't unexpected at all, it was said in the liveletter. Its the exact reason I sold mine.

    To be fair when SE...specifically Yoshi, says "Adjusted" you rare think beneficial

    Tempted to upgrade from a small to a large plot in Lavender Beds, but I also kind of want to wait for the addition of an Ishgardian (non-apartment) district. I think they were saying the property transfer service was being planned for the same time frame so it might be worthwhile to wait.

    Property transfer is what I'm waiting for. Right now our FC has a medium in Ward 1 of Mist. Which we've had for quite a while. I have a personal house in Lavender beds and I'd quite like to move but I don't want to lose all the work we've put in for the FC or for my own plot.

    They've mentioned planning a few things that still haven't been implemented though, so I don't know how soon you should expect that housing transfer thing.

    mmm, I'm 10 mil short for a max price 5th class large.
    I'll probably have to wait for further expansions/new zones, since the christmas rush proved that this supply is gonna get snapped up instanly, on Gilgamesh anyway, so no minimum price larges.
