Hard to top this episode lol.
Episode 3 was way more fun then 2. Hammond getting on James' nerves the entire time was great. And as much as I am currently enjoying their use of really nice high quality cars, I do really hope there's a "tossed in the middle of wherever- Cheap Car challenge!" episode sometime this season.
I think that's definitely in the cards for the next episode or two. I need an epic journey in a shitty car.
Latest episode been out, good lord i couldn't stop laughing the entire way through.
About to watch it on my way down to DC.
Best ep of the show so far.
Such a good episode. Jezza's meat car was all sorts of nasty especially at the end
I hope they do a cheap car challenge soon, those were always my favorite.
Ep 5 was pretty good.
4+5 are the best 2 eps so far.
Cheap cars abound on this ep as well.
Also some NSFW and "I wouldn't watch with my parents or children" stuff on ep 5.
CHEAP CAR CHALLENGE SPOTTED!!!

Festive news: #TheGrandTour will have a Christmas episode on 23rd December, followed by a 2-part Namibian adventure on the 30/31st December.
Fuuuuuck, between this and the Gaki 24-hour no laughing game, New Years is gonna be amaaaaazing!
Namibia special part 1 chooo choooo.
Yeah that wasn't so amazing. I think if they'd shown the GPS trace map etc, to show them going round in circles it would've been a bit better.
I think the reason a lot of the other specials were amazing is they showed a lot of the local culture, or risk the guys were taking. This one seemed a bit bland.
Maybe part 2 will be better seeing as they're out of the desert.
I'm starting to think the reason their "adventures" were fun was because they were cut and trimmed. Its obvious grand tour takes the same things but show more of it...I dont find it as a good thing
Agree that a lot of it felt weird/dull, but I think it's mainly because of the desert. There was nothing to focus on except them 3.
Now that there's some civilisation/local stuff, I think next ep will be easier to watch.
If they didn't have this segment of it, or only showed 15mins of it, I think it would've been perfectly acceptable. 50 mins of it was a bit trying on my patience. The entertaining bit that was too short was when they made a mini camp/fishing, the slight peril they faced while driving as the tide came in, and the hill/cliff diving.
