I'm really looking forward to this. This is one that I actually never finished.
I was probably halfway through and I realized I wasn't supposed to open some chest in the beginning of the game to get something, can't even remember now. So already discouraged. Then I move and lived in chaos for awhile. After that I bought a $4000 plasma tv and that made this game look like Xenogears, it was so bad, plus by then I couldn't really remember what I was doing. I then bought a fat PS3 and thought that might help, but no still looked awful. Sorry for the CSB but I'm really excited

I'm currently doing a replay for the first time since release. I could hardly remember anything. I've already dropped 80 hours into it and I just started looking for rares. (None IZJ). Looking forward to this one!
IZJS coming to the west is content enough for us really. They overhauled the game in that version. Apart from the obvious job system, it got recategorized spells, different ways of obtaining spells and weapons, gambit acquisition overhaul (my biggest gripe with XII), changing quickening mechanics, full control of guests and espers...

Purely QoL would be Street fighter 2 Turbo. This is more like.. Super street fighter 2

Ability to respec being considered
Balthier's gun aiming animation will not be changed (min maxers would understand this, though Balthier should be a WHM in IZJS anyways)

Did IZJS do anything differently with Yiazmat/Omega Weapon? I seem to recall that Yiazmat's HP got boosted while Omega's got nerfed between the original FFXII JP -> NA.
I believe they kept the NA changes to Yiazmat and Omega in IZJS.
This looks really good. The map overlay is going to be really useful.. And quick load times means we can respawn rare game / chests even faster
