Synopsis:

The film centers on 15-year-old yoga nuts Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie, who have an after-school job at a Manitoba convenience store called Eh-2-Zed. When an ancient evil rises from beneath Canada's crust, releases an army of little monsters, called the Bratzis (little Nazis made out of bratwursts) and threatens the Colleens' big invitation to a senior party, they join forces with a legendary man-hunter from Montreal, Guy Lapointe.

I saw this at a screener last month with Kevin Smith doing a Q&A afterward.

It was absurd and cheesy, the cast hammed it up. The two girls were often cringy and the villains were just over the top stupid.
That being said, I bought in and I enjoyed it. I should feel bad liking a movie this stupid, but I totally dug it. Also, Kevin Conroy playing a customer at the store, saying to his son "come on Robin let's go" was gold.

Non spoiler, I dug it. It was ridiculous but it never pretended to be anything else.

Kevin stayed for almost 3 hours after and answered questions, it was very cool. He even walked up to me in the lobby afterward, said hey, signed the little movie poster they gave out, thanked me for coming, etc. I never even asked him to sign it, he just grabbed it while we were chatting for a second.

Just got back from the premier party and Furion nailed my thoughts. Also, Haley Joel Osment's character was absolutely hilarious.

That's two movies coming out in less than a month featuring anthropomorphized sausage. Considering that might be the only two that have ever come out in the history of cinema, that's virtually an epidemic.

I usually enjoy Kevin Smith flicks, so I'll probably give this one a watch, but turn my brain on low to do so, kind of like Tusk.
