Not looking forward to seeing what or who is blamed for the events that occurred today.
News unfolded as I was training to prevent this exact same scenario from happening (but at Fenway park, not a club)

Supposedly according to CNN the gunman called 911 and proclaimed his affiliation with Isis before going in and starting his rampage
Woke up to this as well. Incredibly sad.
he was just saving their souls
Watching Obama on CNN giving his speech on the massacre.
He just looks so sick and tired of being President with all this shit going on. What a fucking shame...
Disgusting animals. So many hateful comments about this across new sites from homophobic people. Can't believe how people have such hatred for people who don't even effect them.
Obama looked so fed up with having to give these briefings. He blamed terrorism and ease of obtaining guns. Praised police and first responders. Gave prayers to friends and family and encouraged everyone to help.
The entire situation is a gigantic fucking hotbed. LGBT, Muslim/ISIS, gun control, even goddamn Internet censorship, to say nothing of the sheer number of people killed. Probably gonna be some pretty far reaching effects from this for years to come.
President Obama has ordered US flags at half-staff until June 16th.
Anyone else having a feeling the shooter was a closet case? All his selfies scream "gay" to my gaydar. Like all those loud anti-gay republicans caught sucking dicks at truck stops. Maybe he was rejected one too many times and wanted to take out his repressed self-hatred for being gay on others. Could be like the Elliot Rodgers thing
I was listening to a radio station in Tampa, and they had a guy on the phone who was DJ'ing at that club last night. He heard popoing sounds and thought it was someone playing with fire crackers. Then he saw the people running, and he took cover along with a few other people.
Governor Voldemort has declared a state of emergency. An Orlando city commissioner on CNN was just encouraging people to not gather en masse to donate blood or hold vigils because between the Christina Grimmie shooting and the Pulse shooting, most law enforcement will be pulling 48 hour shifts and they are spread incredibly thin.

My facebook feed is going to be exciting.
Edit: Guy behind hillary's american tweeted this. And now?
This morning it’s fifty dead. Fifty. Fifty. Fifty dead, killed by a single shooter armed with a military grade assault rifle…
What?
What’s that?
Oh, you want to argue about the term “assault weapon” do you? Don’t you NRA assholes every get tired of being so reflexively predictable? Look here, fifty dead, killed by a single gunman in a few minutes, that isn’t the kind of weapon used for “hunting” or “home defense” – unless you live in Somalia. That’s an assault weapon. I spent my entire life in the military under arms, I know a goddamned assault weapon when I see one. So you NRA assholes sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up. This is on you, you terrorist enabling sons of bitches, this is all on you.
Here we are, America. Here we are yet again. Bang, Bang, Bang.
Another massacre.
This one the worst since 911. That’s right, that’s how we measure it, compared to 911.
Friends, bereft families grieving with loss and concern, a nation left shaken with shock and outrage, left wondering why? How?
Another murderous lunatic with a gun in his hand and a score to settle.
Another excuse from the National Rifle Association. Another denial. Another bribe to their pets in Congress. Another unhinged rant from terrorist-enabling lunatics like Ted Nugent and Wayne Lapierre.
Another flurry of empty prayers and sound-bites from our legislature. Maybe if we renamed the place from Pulse to “The Benghazi Club” we could get Congress to at least form a committee and hold a couple of hearings.
This is the point where I used to type Another bloody horror. But it’s not, is it? It’s a bloody slaughter, sure, but like soldiers on a battlefield, we’ve become numb to the horror. It’s a bloody slaughter, but it’s just another bloody slaughter. It is no longer a surprise – and hasn’t been for a very long time.
Gun violence, mass slaughter, it’s just who we are.
