PS4 vs XBone Demo comparison
PS4 control scheme is broken (input lag), but runs better visually & load times are slightly faster
One of the first console titles to get CryEngine working w/o major issues
Game plays a lot like the first two BioShock's
Battle music drops in at odd times and lasts longer than it should
I picked this up from cdkeys for $30 when it first went up. The Dishonored games are incredible, so I'm giving Arkane the benefit of the doubt. I didn't have the problems with Dishonored 2 that many others did, outside of some FPS dips here and there. I'm cautiously optimistic.
I'm probably the only person here playing this, but in case I'm not, pre-load is available.
FYI Total Biscuit was saying there s no FOV slider and the current FOV is shit.
Lead Dev said that they had a choice to do a pc or console demo and they choose console because pc users can use Steam's refund process if they don't like the game.
People will complain about absolutely anything. The game should have an FOV slider for sure, but anybody who can't fix that on their own in about 2 seconds should get their ass back to their console and never touch a PC again.
Looking at the tweet from developer, FOV slider is on the way, they left it out because of some bugs caused when set to 120+. Then I looked at the comments on Totalbiscuit tweet and it's just lol. So much butthurt over an FOV slider. So many sheep.
PS4 version still has input lag. Also, scope music.
I'm still undecided if it was worth the $80 CAD or not, but I'm certainly having fun with it so far.
I'm only about 4 hours in, but I'm enjoying it so far. I've done far too much exploring though, need to just get on with the story.
