What the fuck is going on here?
They should you couldn't make an AAA walking simulator.
It felt like to me the gameplay is still very early on in development. Cutscenes are easy to develop early (be it cgi or inengine) to show off story/teases compared to having to create all the systems in place that'll drive actual gameplay. That's my excuse anyways as to why we mostly just saw empty walking simulator stuff this year.
Trailer from TGS.
Spoiler: show
Can't wait to fight the prolapsed asshole.
So graphics. Much awesome. Cant wait to play this.

Fuck that was weird.
And awesome
Gold mask guy's VA is Matt Mercer? or sounds like him
It's Troy Baker. It says so at the start of the trailer.
Ocelot's ENG and JP VA are both voicing the masked man, I guess this is just a cheeky comparison for some reason. Other than making MGS fans freak out about potential Kojima trolling and MGS connections.
Release date coming later today.
What the fuck.
I still dunno what I watched, but bring it on. Gameplay may not be everyone's cup of tea, and the story will likely be convoluted enough to turn some off, but I trust Kojima to have some meaning and direction to the madness.
My hype has gone up thousand-fold.
Fuck yes. Even shinkawa is designing this. This is everything I want it to be and more.

I still have no idea wtf this game is about, but Kojima and that cast gives me hopes. This game has a godlike cast. Also, seems more like a RE style walking sim with combat here and there.
Bestbuy has the CE up for those who are interested. So with the gamers reward you get the discount.
Seems like America did some fucked up shit with a hard-on collider and opened a time portal or summoned a being capable of fucking with time. We got people aging decades in a matter of seconds, ghosts of wars past still fighting but also capable of messing with the present? Idk, cant wait til Nov though.

This.
After seeing that, my feeling was that this is like Kojima's "The Matrix" where he's just been sitting on a bunch of batshit ideas and somehow is going to meld them all together and make it work.
Considering I usually have a decent-sized backlog of games, I get very few games before they start dropping in price anymore. This might be one of the few.
