Well my PC is in the medium range I'd say, the game runs pretty nice on default settings, had some hiccups in the first couple of minutes and can see some slowdowns in cutscenes, but otherwise everything works very well

MGS5 was an amazingly polished game, but that was also a different engine. I was hoping this would be similarly well ported. I don't want to spend $60 on a game I already beat, but I also want to see how beautiful this game is on ultra pc master race settings...hmmm...
60-144hz is the big upgrade especially since basically the entire game is mocapped
The game has an annoying habit of getting stuck on loading screen when switching regions :/ All you can do is shut down the app and restart the game from the last autosave.

Sony has patented a number of game mechanics.
It credits Hideo Kojima as the inventor, and a summary of the patent describes the invention as a “terrain radar and gradual building of a route in a virtual environment of a video game”.
Going into more detail, the summary describes it as “a method for influencing a gaming world of a video game” and plots out a way for online players to affect the terrain of single-player worlds, which are delivered to localised (single-player) versions of the game through a “cloud gaming system”.
“The method [includes] determining that a first path has been traversed one or more times by one or more characters,” and explains that it then changes “the first path based on a number of times the first path has been traversed by the one or more characters.”
These “characters” seem to refer to other online players, as the filing describes “cross-pollinating the first path” after it has been “improved across the plurality of virtual environments”.
Further down, the patent describes pathways that physically widen based on how many players have walked along it.
Guess they're at least don't have to worry about casting ;p
Yeah I'm sure Tom Holland can make an opening in his schedule
Is there an old man character in the game Norman Reedus can play?
