    Star Trek: Bridge Crew (PC/PS4/Vive/Rift/PSVR)

Developed specifically for VR, Star Trek: Bridge Crew is the only game to offer a true-to-life level of immersion in the Star Trek universe, where- as officers of the Federation- every action and decision you make together will determine the fate of your ship and crew.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew puts you and your friends in the heart of a starship, where- as officers of the Federation- every action and decision you make together will determine the fate of your ship and crew. Developed specifically for VR, Star Trek: Bridge Crew is the only game to offer a true-to-life level of immersion in the Star Trek universe.

In Star Trek: Bridge Crew, the Federation dispatches you and your crew to command the new vessel U.S.S. Aegis as part of a critical initiative. Your mission: explore a largely uncharted sector of space known as The Trench, in hopes of locating a suitable new home world for the decimated Vulcan populace. The Trench contains stunning beauty and undiscovered wonders, but also strange anomalies and dangers yet unknown. The Klingon Empire is also active in the region, and their purpose is undoubtedly a threat to the Federation’s plans. It’s up to you and your crew to chart the sector to determine the Klingons’ aims, and to secure a peaceful Federation presence.

    Features

Designed from the Ground Up for VR

Star Trek: Bridge Crew was developed specifically for virtual reality and capitalizes on the powerful sense of social presence possible only through VR. Our hand tracking with full body avatars and real time lip sync allow players to genuinely experience what it’s like to serve as an officer on the bridge of a Federation starship.

    Operate as a Crew

Make strategic decisions and coordinate actions with your crew to complete the mission. In co-op, players can form a crew of four to serve in the roles of Captain, Helm, Tactical and Engineer. Each is crucial to the success of the varied missions you face and the safety of your crew and ship.

A Unique Ship for a Unique Mission

Take command of the U.S.S. Aegis, the first ship of her kind. Whether plotting courses and analyzing scan data or hacking enemy shields and targeting vulnerable ship subsystems, you’ll have Starfleet’s cuttingedge technology at your fingertips. The Aegis’ unique design makes her ideal for the dangerous mission in The Trench, but you’ll have to master her systems, both familiar and experimental, to save the day.

    A Shared Galactic Trench

Star Trek: Bridge Crew offers a compelling and engaging co-op experience, with an unmatched sense of reality. You’ll need more than just individual skill to overcome the challenges you’ll face with one another; communication, trust, and close crew coordination are the keys to victory.

    Mission Generator

In addition to a dynamic storyline, Star Trek: Bridge Crew features an “Ongoing Missions” mode, procedurally generating missions for countless hours of Solo and Co-op adventure.

VR no longer Needed, PC & PS4 players can now play without a VR set-up
Star Trek: Bridge Crew challenges four players to work together to pilot a Federation starship through dangerous missions, but until now, it's only been playable through VR hardware. That changes with the latest Star Trek: Bridge Crew free update, which removes the requirement for a headset and opens the door for non-VR players to join in and boldly go where no one has gone before.

Using a controller or a mouse and keyboard, players with and without VR headsets can be seamlessly matched together to pilot the U.S.S. Aegis (or U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701) as Starfleet officers, or play alone as captain. The update also includes enhanced Windows Mixed Reality support, adding more options for players to explore uncharted space.

    TNG Expansion announced, PS4 on May22nd & PC on July 21st - $14.99

    Spoiler: show

Players will be able to test their team skills against a sneaky Romulan fleet or take up battle against the Borg in the Ongoing Voyages mode. Also included with The Next Generation expansion are the new Patrol and Resistance modes. Patrol is a randomized free-roaming style of gameplay where players can go any place they want in the U.S.S. Aegis, the U.S.S. Enterprise NCC-1701, or even the Enterprise-D. Just try not to scratch the fresh coat of paint, or fly into any black holes for that matter.

Resistance mode gives players a bunch of objectives while trying to avoid a pesky Borg Cube. Fans of the series may be excited to take on these cybernetic bucket-heads, but if they are near as ruthless as they are in Star Trek: The Next Generation, then we will all have one crazy fight on our hands. Complete the necessary objectives and face the Borg in battle to the end.

Enterprise-D is receiving a new command role that will focus on Crew Management, and it’s called Operations. In short, it allows one to assign particular NPC teams around the ship in different locations to prepare for the variety of missions. This should make for a very interesting experience should they allow gamers to replicate the ‘Home Soil’ episode and lock some crew members in the head programmer’s rest room.
