idk, I've never read the manga, only watched some of the anime, and overall don't mind when they re-invent a story, and I couldn't get through it. "Decent enough" is a stretch.

I guess the more fitting term would be 'watchable' (at least for me). By no means was it great, but I didn't regret watching it after it was over.

Sequel in the planning stages. Project was pitched as a trilogy. Sequel will happen if "enough" watch the film.

Basically, I'm just asking if they got to L's death. And if they're planning on doing a sequel, that just means that M and N are going to be introduced and what was a shitty movie is only going to get worse.
