I guess I could use more MHO. Now that I know U+ is not a dps race because of Ultimate Flashing Blade, I guess I could deck everyone with drain abilities. Only thing I worry about is Ultimate Meteor. Have to fit in a shellga shared soul break on someone.
Decided to try again doing Seph Ult+ CM since I realized like the idiot that I am that 2 healers would probably help alot with keeping up with his aoes and sure enough, not only completed the CM this time around, but also mastered it .
Was on emulator so don't have screenshots of party but I was rocking:

Wouldn't have been able to do this without Wall if I didn't have Toy Soldier so very happy I did pull it.
Tried it once. My DPS was fine, just keeping everyone alive was harder. Even with Leaching Jump and Drain Strike, it didn't keep the heat off of Aerith. And it was probably a mistake to squeeze in a Dragon Force SB which did very little in the end. Also forgot Wall Recast at 40% which meant shadow flare to the party for 2.5k.
Aeriths new "Crit + Magic-Blink SB" was MVP here. When combined with Shout - everything was dealing amazing damage and Ultimate Meteor did't hit anyone.
Still lost one medal to damage taken, but mastered easily.

So, I didn't do this with the normal FFVII only chars as I wanted the other 'free' orbs, but I did finally beat this thanks to a PSA on reddit that suggested Greg + Draw Fire + Stiener's RM that helps you build SB gauge when being attacked.
Basically, I threw that free FFX rod on him, put him back row with draw fire/retal (so his damage retaling wasn't great) and it built his gauge hella fast. Died once and used a Phoenix continue but rolled after since I could put the regen staff back on Yuna and have that regen + Greg healing like every other turn for about 1100-1300. Cheesy way to go about it but the only way I can mitigate without a Wall.

Grats on the win, just an fyi later (going to throw this info up when first Fragment comes out), but in 1 week we'll get Ifrit Fragment, he'll be the toughest boss we'll face (lvl 255 difficulty compared to Ult++ 180), so don't worry about clearing him since like Nightmare dungeons, he'll appear each month.

At least next batch of CMs won't be as stupid as this, this one wasn't designed to be a CM and they just slapped one on it.
Did this again with the 7 dudes and went much smoother than the non RS team. Honed up powerbreakdown (yuck) and leeching leap (v good).
I have much more confidence in Ifrit than I do with Seph.

Almost wiped to final pixel of health when protect and shell wore. Yuffie's Insta-Medica saved my ass.
Roughed out a clear, too. Still need to go back for Ult, which I actually did before finding out about the bug. Think I'll see what other people did this time around, though.
Gonna try again and delay Walls a little bit. Without it his damage is way too high even with 2 healers. Flashing Blade also makes rushing with Shout kinda rough.
