So rumor mill is after CS4 is released Falcom will focus on getting localization of CS3/4 moving along in the west. Fingers crossed.

I'm guessing we won't get any announcements until May-June 2019ish. If we go by the timeline of release for CS1/2 it'd put us at release dates of December 2019 and September 2020, however since CS4 is way bigger than CS2, I'd guess that it'd be released December 2020.

I don't think NISA will touch trails since the games are way too damn big and are kind of a huge risk given that they require you to play 7-8 other equally huge games to understand the full context of the games. I wouldn't be surprised if they got another Ys game though if they continue to provide Falcom with switch ports. I wouldn't be mad about this if the next game has a similar level of quality as the current PS4 Ys VIII, cause it'd give XSeed more time to focus on Trails. Complete shame about that clusterfuck of a PC port though.

Yep. The PC port was a dumpster fire. At least the Switch version is pretty solid for some Ys on the go.

And for a silver lining, maybe if sales for the Switch are good Falcom will focus on that too.
