Good, speed up releasing next ones then!“Sales of the Ys and Trails series in North America, Europe, and Asia remained strong. In addition, sales of the English versions of Trails from Zero (released in September 2022) and Trails to Azure (released in March 2023) exceeded expectations. As a result, net sales, operating income, ordinary income, and net income for the first half of the current fiscal year exceeded the previously announced figures, respectively.”
My Reverie CE won't be getting here until Monday, boohoo. Here go my weekend plans, oh well
Yeah mine is supposedly arriving at some point next week. It's still only at shipping label created. If I hadn't already played the unofficial translation I would be annoyed.
I don't even think mine has a shipping label created yet.
meanwhile my characters are sitting there at the still-in-progress school festival that has been going on for *checks notes* seven months now
I swear I'll finish Trails in the Sky someday.... it's a great game it just has that ssssllllooowwww JRPG pacing
The first game is a bit of a hump, I agree. I had to try it 3 times before it stuck. Once you get over that hump of the first game though, you won't stop. I didn't try to 100% it, but I had heard how much it picks up and it does near the end, and it doesn't stop after that.
Yeah FC is definitely the weakest game in the series in both story and gameplay. It's biggest problem is you aren't invested in the world yet and it has no narrative momentum. It's basically 50 hours of worldbuilding but it's so worth it once you get through.
Honestly finding the Trails series in 2020 during covid and Wfh kept me sane.
I can see that.
I've had a Trails game to play during particularly stressful times or transitions in life over the past 7 years or so. It's been a godsend.
The world building is just crazy in this series. Once you get into the whole thing you'll be hooked
They NISA store migration has been a shit show, but fortunately my copy of Reverie is in transit.
I'm probably going to be a lot more annoyed by next week if there's not at least a label created. I had so much work I was buried under, plus trying to finish P5 Strikers that the release snuck up on me. Haven't even started FF16 yet. But part of why I was in overdrive to finish some projects was so that I could have time and capacity to focus on Reverie.
Feel bad for any of the NISA people who were at the expo though. Hope fans there weren't jerks to them.
I did e-mail them about an unrelated matter (seeing about having the same level of shipping as my original order) and haven't heard anything, so might follow up with that one again. Thanks for the tip!
Edit: LOL right after that I checked my mail and they said it's been fulfilled, so, progress? Have a tracking number but..can't track progress.
Interesting. I sent them an email and VM late June and never heard anything back about the questions I had.
Apparently the game is rife with bugs...

Also saw a post that fishing the Rainbow Trout on PS4 crashes the game
Well that's embarrassing
The game doesn't seem to recognise my CS4 data. Not sure if I overwritten the clear file with another save or what...
Edit: I'm on PS5 and some people suggest you need to get a clear save on CS4 playing on PS5 for it to be recognised. But the game seems to give you some bonuses anyway, so w/e
