California en route to restoring affirmative action. The Assembly Constitutional Amendment 5 needs to be ratified by the state senate by Jun 25th to qualify for the November ballot. If passed in November, this would effectively repeal Proposition 209, the 1996 state initiative that banned affirmative action.
University of California regents unanimously support the repeal.

It looks like Charles Booker, the progressive candidate, will defeat Amy McGrath in KY and challenge Mitch McConnell.

The total counted votes right now is less than 100k. The race is going to exceed 400k or 500k votes. It may be close. It may not. It's way too early to say anything definitive.
McGrath has won it.

That's excellent for progressives because when McConnell blows her out by 13 points they can say it's because she's not progressive, instead of having their candidate get blown out by 13 points
Looks like Missouri is going to expand Medicaid finally.

How many states are still left?
I mean, if Oklahoma can do it, anyone can
Ilhan Omar, who was being challenged by a well-funded more traditional Democrat, has easily won her primary.
