Four? gott dam
I should've botted this like it's Fafnir.
A lot of traveling around to various Gamestop locations when I saw they were starting to take preorders. Honestly I'm surprised I managed to secure that many, I was really demoralized when I found out Amazon had gone up without a single notice.
I'm not sure if anyone followed my advice and followed @Wario64 but just in case you didn't

Annndd it's dead
Woo, got it, thanks!
Still mad at Walmart for the whole debacle earlier, but screw the high ground~
Did I just miss it by minutes?
This didn't seem to pan through, but what did happen is that they limited it to 1 per customer. There were people boasting they ordered 30 on them and they were getting e-mails that their orders were reduced to one. I ordered 2, separate orders, different addresses and have not been canceled yet, though. So maybe they will have more to sell.
But I did get this e-mail on both of them so no idea what Amazon is up too:
"Hello,
We're contacting you about order #xxxxxxxx for Super NES Classic.
We recently learned that we may miss your delivery promise and apologize for the inconvenience. You will still receive your order of Super NES Classic. We are working hard to ensure you get this item as soon as it is in stock. You can track the status of, or make any changes to, your order under Your Orders on Amazon.com."
Sounds like you're guaranteed to get it/them and that Amazon just isn't sure when they'll get the stock. Could it mean that Nintendo actually learned from the NES Classic and will actually try to fill the demand?
I had one in my cart and after I signed in it was gone... fuck that's a terrible system. I've had that happen at several sites...
Has there been any technical word yet on the emulation yet, given the NES one had a notable drawback in the sound department? Mainly curious if they fucked up the timing on the SuperFX 1&2 emulation or not like a good chunk of PC SNES emulators did for years.
If any of you USA folk manage to somehow get a spare and would like to swap for a pal shape one give me a shout
