ThinkGeek got another shipment of NES Classics and only put them up for sale in bundles with other merchandise, the cheapest of which was $140. They sold out their supply within 20 minutes.

well, TG was acquired by gamestop some time ago, so that kind of scumbaggery is par for the course. is the resale on these things high enough where the cost from the bundled garbage is worth the price of admission?
I got my SNES classic ordered a few weeks ago, but with a move and work have not had time to gloat.
Spoiler: show
Looks like Walmart may be cancelling those

Yeah, and their statement was pretty much the exact same thing they did with Xenoblade Chronicles a few years back -- "Oh hey, we found an extra shipment of these that we never put out! Lucky us!"
Yeah.. just checked my email and had one of those as well
Also, what's the problem with them putting it up earlier than they planned? It's probably still going to sell out in less than an hour, and the only difference, now some people who preordered won't get them and will blame Walmart.
Got a cancel email too...
I just don't understand why the fucking thing hasn't gone on preorder yet.
SUSPENSE
Rest in Peace.
http://kotaku.com/the-snes-classic-w...l-t-1797433695We appreciate the incredible anticipation that exists for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System: Super NES Classic Edition system, and can confirm that it will be made available for pre-order by various retailers late this month.
A significant amount of additional systems will be shipped to stores for launch day, and throughout the balance of the calendar year.
Soon.™
Must resell...
Are we finally getting US preorders this weekend?
I'm also increasingly wanting to import the JP and UK classic editions. One of each for the personal collection seems aptly excessive.
There's a rumor that they're opening this weekend, but no one's shared any concrete evidence. I think the best evidence is someone saying their uncle works at Nintendo, so giant grain of salt and all that.
Up for sale on Best Buy right now.

Pickup only and I keep getting this
We're sorry, these items are no longer available for immediate store pickup at the location you've selected
Kinda wish there was a way to alert each other in bg. I saw reddit too late, and nowinstock.net alerts are coming in late. :/ the best buy preorder lasted 15 minutes.
Amazon was overnight as well, and they intentionally did not use the placeholder page so no alerts went out.
