For as much of a bad rap Dustin gets in this thread, he probably had my favorite lines in this season. The explanation of compasses and the sensory deprivation were on point.

Dustin starts out annoying but quickly became my favorite of the trio. Not surprisingly, Lucas started as my favorite and quickly became annoying with the skepticism.

Really hope Dustin is still missing his teeth in the sequel lol.

What kind of genre is this show? I started watching the first episode last night and stopped about 5 minutes in because it seemed like it was a horror esque show. And hell no I'm not starting that at 2 AM..

Yeah, it feels kind of horror-esque for like the first episode, but it's really not that at all. More mystery for the first like 4 or 5 episodes before it becomes more adventurous for the second half of the series

Before I had finished the show, a friend told me that it was very much like Twilight Zone. Which, its nothing like

God damn I loved this show. The music was really good too. Kind of bummed it was only 8 episodes though.

For that one scene when the little bully whips out the knife I felt like that was a tad extreme. Threatening to stab other kids and forcing them off cliffs is pretty hardcore. Lucky he only got a broken arm and not brain explosion/neck twist like I was expecting him to get for his escalation.

so apparently this show was rejected 10+ times before getting picked up by Netflix. Hard to believe we are living in a "golden age" of TV when theres 45 procedural crime dramas and a dozen networks passing on this.

Honestly, this show only worked cause it was on Netflix. Formatting for commercials and a lower than TV-M rating would have turned it into a syfy show.
