Truepandagod OD'd on contrarian pills

Loved it. Score was great, even the weird "na na na na na na" song. Adams and Renner were great. Some plebs were sitting behind my wife and I chatting it up during the movie. One of them uttered "gaaaay" during the whole "it wasn't about meeting them, it was about meeting you" line. A couple of older women didn't get the movie and asked us when we were walking out, but seemed to appreciate it more after hearing it. They said some kids in front of them were just staring at their phones thru most of the movie. Prolly a lot of macross folk expecting the next big summer Roland Emmerich alien film.

Can't wait to watch it again. Gonna hunt down the soundtrack as well.

I was asking my wife if humans were the right people to give this "gift" to. We both just kinda frowned. Figured out the whole future part halfway thru, but it was still a cool "aha" moment. Also leaves you wondering what Costello said is going to happen in 3000 years.

Lol well I thought it fit the scene, but yeah like I said they were chatty as fuck and annoying enough already. It was the last showing on a fucking Monday night, so I was hoping for a pretty light crowd, but half the theater filled up.... On the plus side, the movie is making money.
