Coaches & Massey polls have been released, Bama still #1.
Fuck you Dabo Swinney
I am to believe that Notre Dame is only 1 spot worse than the team they lost to?
Moving on.
AP poll currently being updated, up to 8:

Goddamn, Wisconsin jumped from 34 to 10 in the AP poll!

High-five, Archi -- Texas jumped to 11!
Don't touch me with your dirty Texan hands
just looked at the polls and was curious if previously unranked teams have jumped that high before
i know it's only week 1 but damn.
Well, previously unranked teams almost never open the season beating top-5 teams. We only jumped to #16 in the coaches poll, but we have to play #8, #6, #4, and #10 in a row starting two weeks from now.
at least you don't have to play RUTGERS!
I know its only post week 1, but the polls favoritism is showing pretty hard.
They couldn't have found 3 other team to take up the three 0-1 teams in week 1?
I was on vacation this week, sorry for the lateness. This week sucks anyway outside one spectacle of a match up.

ESPN College Game Day will travel to Bristol, TN as Virginia Tech faces off against #17 Tennessee from Bristol Motor Speedway. That's a NASCAR track, fyi. This is expected to be the most attended college football game in history, with over 150,000+ fans in attendance. The game is Saturday night at 8pm on ABC.
Other notable games in week 2:
Friday, 9/9--
#13 Louisville at Syracuse, 8pm on ESPN2
Saturday. 9/10--
Kentucky at Florida, 3:30pm on CBS
South Carolina at Miss St, 7:00pm on ESPN2
Arkansas at #15 TCU, 7:00pm on ESPN
Iowa State at #16 Iowa, 7:30pm on Big Ten Network
BYU at Utah, 7:30pm on FOX
Virginia at #24 Oregon, 10:30pm on ESPN
So yeah, a pretty shitty slate this week outside of watching the spectacle of a NASCAR track getting modified to hold football. Enjoy your tailgating and naps.
god that's terribad. VT and Tenn as the marquee match-up, yuck
i will be at the rutgers home opener getting shitfaced and hoping we don't lose to some guy named howard
The FSU vs. Charleston Southern game is gonna be a real shit show, Charleston Southern is possibly suspending 30+ players for stupid NCAA infractions including the entire offensive line, starting QB and RBs. Also keep in mind that FCS teams only get 63 scholarship athletes. It's gonna be ugly.
There was a price to the amount of great games last week. Plus, week 1 of NFL.
I guess the relatively shitty crop of games tomorrow at least leaves me with a free day on the weekend, which is pretty much unheard of during football season.
Welp, Louisville is up 21-0 on Syracuse with 10:17 left to go in the first quarter. That escalated quickly.
