I did a gem revive on the final boss because I was 1 round from winning and wanted the tickets. I'll go back again later and try for the gem rewards.

Quest lvl 70 Ifrit EX is balls deep hard if anyone hasn't tried it yet. Even with dispel and deprotect, he was breaking my characters with 2.5k BRV and getting up to 8.5k. Cleared it but didn't master, gonna bring Hope next time for Protect/Shell.

use him anyway? lol. tier lists in general are stupid but this game in particular benefits little from their existence. different bosses may require different toolsets to make them easier but there isnt a single character in this game that you cant win things with if you use them.

Not in my experience on the harder stuff. Some of it is pretty tailor-made for certain characters. I would also argue that it's important to know which characters are the best overall to avoid wasting gems on inferior banners.

Yeah, I caved and tossed like 10 more tickets at Squall banner and ended up with Zid weapon. Really enjoying how generous they are with things so far and the game as a whole.

For those who didn't see this on Reddit, Part 3 is best spot to grind for 1* and 2* summon mats, part 6, if you can reliably beat it is best for the higher tier mats.

I cleared the final boss without death or breaks, still missed the score and turn requirements.

Vaan, CL45
WoL, CL44
Squall, CL50

I used Robert's Vanille as my friend unit and used WoL to swap her in, summon, and remove all the bosses buffs in one shot. I had no abilities left at the end except for maybe a Shield Throw on WoL. I'm gonna swap out WoL for Cloud and try for the turn requirement.

I did all missions in one with:
Vanille (CL25)
Zidane (CL36)
Vaan (CL44)
and an almost maxed Cloud friend summon (crucial part of this is it needs to be a mutual friend for the 5 turns.)
Ifrit L11 for 6 turns summon helps too.

I slowplayed it until a little over 50% when I got pigeonholed into someone either getting broken or me using Ifrit at a less than optimal time. I wanted to go past 50% so I could dispel def buff with Vanille before trying to burst it down, but it didn't make a difference. You can pretty much burst it from ~50% to dead with a strong enough party without it getting a chance to act if you get a para proc. I had weapons for all of the chars except Vanille, but she had Yuna's weapon equipped.

Wow, they implemented RDM's mechanics into Alisaie's gameplay quite well. I'm impressed!

Edit: Ok I did one last pull for Squall because he's one of my favorites and finally got his 5* gunblade! Of course I got my sixth Tigerclaw as well but whatever lol.

Managed to get the target score and turn requirement for Ifrit ex using Vaan, Squall, and Cloud. Friend Vanille (not mutual)

Once Chimera used the def buff, I swapped Vanille in for 2x dispel and deprotect. As soon as deprotect was on, I summoned and zerg rushed the boss. 136 rounds.

New Co-Op mission is a nice change of pace, there's also summon ticket rewards for getting 1 million cumulative points. You can get points as guest so it should go pretty quickly.

The sandworm at the start is harder than the dragon imo. Dragon dies in 2 summons, easy. Sandworm feels so damn slow.

Been soloing mine since I got tired of waiting for people to join.

Also.... Used the single ticket we got from this fight and upgraded to silver! Then upgraded to Gold! And I FINALLY after going 0/4 on 5k gem pulls, got Yuna's aoe esuna staff!

Now 100% content till Lightning hits.
