It's pretty self sustaining I find; I've started to be more selective just to make I never run out, but I haven't had any issues thus far.

What turn do you get to the boss by? Aim for boss by turn 58ish. The red dragon is probably the one that will hang you up the most. For me, I couldn't hit 22k until I got Tidus with Brotherhood for that debuff.

I think the 1 skill use on Cloud's Finishing Touch can be a limiting factor, especially when Eiko doesn't contribute all that much herself (Smite only has 6 uses?).

Cleared it with just over 22k. Thanks guys. What worked for me was swapping Eiko for Hope. And summoning immediately on the dragon instead of holding it.

Using a friend Tidus to pseudo dispel the dragon at the end was huge.

Looks like no Prishe tonight. Based on the fact that we didnt get cycle keys this morning. Here's hoping I'm wrong. Can't wait to be to have the first piece of my future Prishe, Lion, Lillisette party.

Layle is ranked very high in JP despite being locked to 50 still due to his unique ability to initiate chases much faster than other characters (it's pretty much his niche here) but he only shoots up there with his 35 CP. Honestly this banner is a huge skip unless these characters get buffs or 35 CPs early. But if you're pulling and get his weapon you're starting to build a good character anyway

Any advice on where to farm icen adamite? Says from ch 2. and I need 300 more to cap Shiva, so hoping for a specific farm spot if somebody knows of one

I think the final boss of the islands on hard has the best Esper mat drop rates. Not 100 percent sure, but I did read that once.
